The Elders are the leaders of the Hero Clan's Village in Japan. When the Elders assume their position, they are given a name for their position. Atsuta, Fuji, and Kumano are the names of the Elders. Their names are based off of the three mountains of Japan where the "gods" are said to reside. They are the ones responsible for Basara's exile from the Village.
